Thank you letter from Mayor of Harrow
Dear Flt Lt Black,I am writing to express my sincere appreciation and admiration for the outstanding conduct and professionalism displayed by the cadets of 1454 (Harrow) Squadron Air Training Corps during the Freedom of Entry Parade and Service yesterday.
It was an honour to take the salute and a privilege to witness such a smart and disciplined parade and service. The cadets carried themselves with remarkable composure and pride and they represented both your Squadron and the wider Royal Air Force Air Training Corps with great distinction.
I was particularly impressed by the resilience and determination shown despite the torrential rain. The challenging weather conditions did nothing to diminish their focus of commitment. Their ability to maintain standards and morale throughout was a testament to their training, leadership and character. They are without doubt a credit to you and 1454 (Harrow) Squadron Air Training Corps.
Please extend my heartfelt congratulations and thanks to every cadet and member of staff involved. They did themselves, 1454 Squadron, and the London Borough of Harrow proud.
Yours sincerely,
Cllr Anjana Patel
